Helu Live Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 29, 2026 | Effective Date: June 1, 2026

Companion Document: This Privacy Policy also exists at napi.helu.live/privacy.html. If the two ever differ, treat the version linked in-app as authoritative and update both together — keeping one as the master and syncing the other whenever it changes.
Important Note: This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is written in English (United States) and is the agreement between you and Helu Live (operated by [Jinvexo Limited], referred to as "We", "Us", or "Our") when you use the Helu Live mobile application ("Helu Live" or "Helu Live " Or" App") and related services operated by us ("Service(s)"). This Policy applies to individuals who use our websites, apps, events, and other services. For your convenience, we may provide translated versions; if a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.

Please read this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms"). By installing, registering for, accessing, or using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy.

IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THIS POLICY, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE APP.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Helu Live! We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Helu Live is a social live-streaming and voice-chat platform that enables users to watch and host live broadcasts, join voice rooms, send instant messages, purchase virtual gifts, and interact with other users.

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly
  • Account Information: Phone number, email address, account ID, username/nickname, password, profile picture, bio, gender, date of birth, and language preferences.
  • Profile Location (Optional): City or region you manually select in your profile. We do not collect precise GPS location through location permissions on the current Android App.
  • Identity Verification: If you apply for creator/anchor verification or use payout-related features, we may collect your legal name, gender, government ID type and number, ID document images, phone number, email, and related agency/guild information.
  • User Content: Photos, videos, audio, text, comments, live stream content, voice room content, and instant messages you create or share.
  • Financial Information — In-App Purchases: When you purchase virtual currency through Google Play Billing, Google processes your payment. We receive transaction records (such as product ID, order ID, purchase time, and amount) but do not receive or store your full payment card number or CVV/CVC from Google.
  • Financial Information — Creator Payouts (where enabled): If you use withdrawal or payout binding features enabled by our systems, we may collect payout information you submit (such as name, contact details, and bank, UPI, USDT, or other payout account details) to process settlements and comply with applicable law.
  • Contact Information: Information you provide when contacting customer support, submitting feedback, or exercising your privacy rights.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Application version; device brand, model, and operating system version; device identifier (derived from Android ID or a randomly generated UUID); network type and connectivity status; device language; and diagnostic information needed for troubleshooting.
We do not collect IMEI, IMSI, or MAC address as part of our standard Android App operation.
  • Usage Data: Login and session activity; live room and voice room participation; social interactions (follows, likes, gifts); feature usage; in-app search queries and locally stored search history; in-app purchase history; app crash and performance logs.
  • Audio and Video Data: When you use live streaming, video, or voice room features, we process audio and/or video content and related session metadata to provide real-time communication services.
  • Instant Messaging Data: Message content and metadata processed through our messaging infrastructure (including Tencent Cloud IM).
  • Referral / Install Attribution: If you install through a referral link, we may use Google Play Install Referrer to record install source information.
  • IP Address and Approximate Region: We may collect your IP address and infer your country or region for localization, security, fraud prevention, and content recommendations. We do not collect precise GPS location on the current Android App.
  • Safety and Moderation Data: Reports, block lists, and content moderation records related to community safety.

Local Storage: The App stores data locally on your device (such as login tokens, preferences, and cache) to keep you signed in and improve performance. Embedded web pages (WebView) may use cookies or similar technologies governed by the relevant page operator. We do not use cookies in the native App for behavioral advertising.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from:

  • Third-party login providers when you choose to sign in (currently Google Sign-In on Android; other providers may be available on other platforms or in future versions). We receive only the information you authorize (such as provider user ID, display name, profile picture, and email address).
  • Other users who report you, mention you, or share content involving you.
  • Payment and service partners that help us process transactions, host content, or operate infrastructure.
  • Public or commercially available sources where permitted by law.

Third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies. This Policy does not govern third-party services outside our control.

2.4 Device Permissions

The App may request permissions when you use related features. See Appendix A.

2.5 Background, Picture-in-Picture, and Floating Quick-Return

When you use live or voice room features, the App may continue certain session functions while you switch to other apps or minimize the room:

  • Video live rooms — Picture-in-Picture (PiP): On supported devices, if you minimize a video live room using the system picture-in-picture feature, the App may continue playing live audio and video in a small system-managed window until you close that window or return to the App. Closing the PiP window may end your participation in that room, depending on product rules.
  • Voice rooms — Floating quick-return: If you minimize a voice room, we may show a draggable floating quick-return control (for example, an icon displaying the room cover) so you can return to the room. On some Android devices, the system may ask for permission to display over other apps for this feature.
  • Foreground service and notifications: During an active voice or live session, we may run a foreground service (such as microphone-related background processing) and send notifications so the session can continue when the App is in the background. See Appendix A.

These features are provided to deliver the Services you choose to use. They do not involve selling your personal information and generally do not collect categories of data beyond those described elsewhere in this Policy.

2.6 Video Streamers/Hosts Content Safety and Risk Control

The users who have passed real‑name authentication and become video streamers need an additional information collection: See Appendix C.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

Service providers are contractually required to use information only to perform services for us and to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

Deleting your account generally removes your profile, virtual assets (such as coins, friends, likes, and frames, subject to our rules), and usage records. We may retain certain de-identified log data as described in Section 5. On a regular basis, we wipe certain identifying information from log data and replace account identifiers with replacement identifiers that cannot be linked back to your account once it is deleted. We may also keep information for legal issues, terms violations, or harm prevention efforts.

You may also manage optional permissions through your device settings (microphone, camera, notifications, etc.).

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@jinvexo.com. We may verify your identity before responding.

Appendix C — Hosts Content Safety and Risk Control

To maintain a healthy and compliant live streaming environment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we implement automated content moderation measures for all active hosts on our platform:

  • 01 Purpose of Data Collection: Our system is designed to detect and prevent illegal or prohibited content, including but not limited to sexually explicit material, violence, harassment, and other content that violates our Terms of Service and community guidelines.
  • 02 Information We Collect for Moderation: When you host a live stream, our system may automatically and periodically capture screenshots ("frames") of your live video feed. This process is known as frame capture or periodic screenshotting.
  • 03 How We Process the Data: Each captured screenshot frame is encrypted and transmitted to our secure servers. Once there, it is processed by our automated image recognition technology to detect policy violations. For the avoidance of doubt, this process occurs in real-time during your live session.
  • 04 Data Retention and Deletion: Frames flagged as "Safe": These are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after the automated detection process is complete.
Frames flagged for "Policy Violations": These may be retained as evidence for a limited period to support our content moderation decisions and to comply with legal discovery or law enforcement requests.
  • 05 Your Consent and Control: By initiating a live broadcast on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to this automated content monitoring. You may stop this collection at any time by ending your live stream. If you believe a moderation decision is in error, you may contact us using the information in Section 12 to appeal.

Appendix-C: Scope of application – This section applies to users who have passed real‑name authentication and become video streamers, and only applies when they start a video live streaming room.
